Arun Shourie has come out hard on the Specially chosen judge Shivraj Patil on his 2G report. He has alluded to selection of Shivraj Patil for his pliant nature. Arun has asserted that Kapil Sibal is dealing in half-truths and down right lies and is acting as A Raja's lawyer.

Shourie has referred to Shivraj Patil's 2G report as fabricated by Kapil Sibal and has highlighted following facts: 

• Report was prepared without interviewing anyone
• Shivraj Patil made a report based on the selective documents handed over to him by the lawyer and telecom minister Kapil Sibal. 

Corruption's advocate(?), Kapil Sibal's strategy seem to be following:

1. Use Shivraj Patil Report to pass the buck on CON party/DMK party corruption to BJP
2. Make noises on action against corruption. Provide a pretense of action. Arrest A Raja (Ex Minister), Siddharth Behruria, RK Chandolia (DoT officials). Disable, place road blocks on successful prosecution. 
3. Talk of cancellation of licenses.  or at best provide a facade of action against one two entities. But do everything on ground to prevent cancellation. Use friendly big media and deploy newer faces with pretensions of credibility (as niira radia took credibility of most old faces away) like Gopal Jain(?) etc to obfuscate, use sophistry and protect the corrupt. So deploy people in radia-ised big-media to take the following positions: let us move on, horses have bolted, let us not politicise this, India is no Banana country - India has to respect contracts...(all self serving positions with the targeted outcome of protecting the 2G looters). 

It is important for people to know that on ground India will be suckered if

• There is no successful prosecution
• There is no license cancellation and penalization. 

The thiefs that enabled and perpetrated 2G loot must pay a political and material cost apart from exemplary punishment through the wheels of justice.
